Advocate Dawid Benjamin Muller (BLC LLB (UP)) is a lottery and gaming industry expert, legally qualified specializing in compliance, security, litigation, intellectual property rights and contractual law matters.
He has a rich background in international relations, lottery management, compliance, security, auditing, arbitration, forensic and other investigations. With a lottery industry track record of twenty-one years gained on the African continent and also internationally, he counts amongst his accomplishments the successful rollout and management of lottery infrastructure, participation in the preparation of responses to Request for Proposals for Lottery and Gaming licenses, license compliance audits in several jurisdictions as well as license negotiations with several regulators on the African continent.
He serves as a member of the World Lottery Association’s Security and Risk Management Committee and was a key member of a panel of lottery experts that drafted the first version of the World Lottery Association’s Security and Risk Standards in 2002.
In 1998 Neil started working in the lottery industry in South Africa and his career over the last 21 years has seen him working throughout Africa, rolling out numerous lotteries, sportsbetting and other gaming projects.
As a generalist, Neil’s experience is comprehensive ranging from Tenders and Submissions, roll out and project deployments, game development and innovation and distribution channels, to the conventional operations, sales growth, distribution expansion, third party distribution and technology required to operate on the continent.
Neil has worked and consulted for some of the largest gaming providers in the world and his experience as an operator, consultant and supplier in the various gaming sectors provides a complete operational understanding of the routes to market.
